Today marks the last full day in Paris. To spend the last day of Paris we went to a Tradeshow where clothing, accessories, shoes, interior furniture, packaging designs were all displayed for buyers, PRs, and designers to see what is next for the Fashion Industry. I’ve heard so much about trade shows, but being able to experiencing one is definitely rewarding, and something everyone in fashion or deciding to go into fashion related field should do.
I also went booze hunting! I made it my goal to bring back some french craft beer to try, and even bought cheese and a bottle of Bordeaux red wine. I’m excited to try out everything once i get home. One bottle of craft beer will go to my dad. The cheese store was amazing. The worker was great and so helpful and knowledgeable about the different cheese, and wines. My favorite will have to be the nut wine with the lamb cheese. I can’t remember which cheese exactly, but i believe that it’s the lamb cheese one. sigh, such great experiences.
Farewell dinner went great! I got the mixed meat dish which consisted of lamb, chicken, and beef. Fries, salad, and rice pilaf was also included. everything was so tasty. I got white wine to end the night, and some words of encouragement from Peter Carmen, who has been with us since day one here in Paris. After dinner, my friends and I decided to end the night with one last trip to the Eiffel Tower. It was breathtaking once again. I spent this time looking at it with more awe than I did before, not looking through a lens, but simply appreciating it with my raw eyes.
Goodnight (one last time),
