Today I said farewell to my relatives and headed back to the apartment. I dressed up really nicely to go to the Opera to see the ballet. We took the bus to the opera. The bus was free that night. I wonder if anywhere else n the world is like this? The opera was amazing. I loved the performances. It was my first time to a ballet performance, so while I did not understand some of the performances I definitely felt emotions that I think they were meant to evoke. It really was beautiful to watch, well of what I saw. The seats were not the best. The finger food/buffet was great as well. Little sandwiches,  glasses of champagne, juice, desserts, and beautiful beautiful flowers to take home.

I think during new years eve everyone wished to be with family, but for those who were kind enough to work and give free transportation, thank you! I gave the bus drive a flower for his help that night. I really hope it made him feel good. Later that night after the opera, i was able to bundle up before going to celebrate the new years at the Pantheon with all the girls. We toasted to the new year, and it felt great.

Afterwards,  Beth, Duyen and I ended up going to the Packer Bar where the rest of the girls were at. It was very interesting that in PARIS there was a bar dedicated to the Packers. My boyfriend would have liked it. He loves the Packers. It was quite a night.
