Today I am up very early to catch the train with the group to Antwerp, Belgium. I've never really learned too much about Belgium except that they are the creators of fries, and that they have "to-die-for" waffles. I can't wait for what is in stored!
Back from Antwerp, and it was wonderful! I loved everything in Antwerp. From the quite little cobble stone streets to the cute cottage looking houses/buildings, everything was great. I about the Mode Museum and Natan, a Belgian designer. I also learned a little about how competitive this fashion school was. Each class usually starts with about 15-20 students, and by the senior year, there are only about 5 students left. It is very very competitive and challenging.
Aside from the competitive art of fashion, I really enjoyed the shops in Belgium. My crew and I explored a bit and found some pretty amazing shops, and of course the big name brands as well. I got chocolates at Leonidas which is known for it's many selections of chocolates, and I had to get myself a Belgium waffle. It was crunchy yet soft, and super chocolatey but very delicious! The train ride was easy and not too bad. Now I know that Antwerp is a place I will definitely visit again one day.
